  1. Directly connect themes and concepts associated with our American heritage learned through classroom instruction at their home school with actual sites where such events took place and the tradition of our national heritage was established.
  2. Provide students the opportunity to interact with professional historical interpreters representing individuals whose past lives, character and background model the values and responsibilities which serve as positive factors in the further development of our country into the next century.
  3. Have students reflect on the key ideas and content of the program, through the use of various assessment models such as simulations, critical thinking activities, graphic displays and interactive journals/notebooks.
